My first week of my Cyber Ethics class is over. Well, not officially, but I have done all my work. This week we had to read an article about online ethics. Then we had to discuss how those ethics characteristics affected our own online ethics. This was our paper for the week. Our discussion involved having to choose from 7 different topics and writing on one of them. I chose the topic of differentiating from morals, ethics and laws. I think I did a good job. I used the topic of downloading music from the Internet as the overall comparison topic.
I have had ethics classes before, but this one already is opening my eyes to a much broader topic. Just the reading has been very intriguing. I hope that this continues throughout the course. I will try to type a little bit of information about each week, but I am not going to promising anything. Thanks for reading!
